Electronic Vaulting Services (EVS) was founded by Gayle Rose and Chris Chu with the objective of providing Managed Data Backup, Data Recovery and Disaster Recovery solutions for enterprises of all sizes. EVS headquarters is located in Memphis, Tennessee with Data Centers in both Memphis and Dallas, Texas. We utilize only “best of breed” hardware, software and data backup technologies. EVS has developed a host of scalable solutions for all enterprises ranging from the smallest businesses to the largest, most complex or regulated industry. Gayle Rose |
Gayle S. Rose is the Principal owner and CEO of Electronic Vaulting Services (EVS) Corporation. Prior to joining EVS, Rose served as Managing Director of Heritage Capital Advisors, LLC, a private equity, corporate advisory and asset firm with offices in Atlanta and Memphis. Ms. Rose served as President and CEO of the Chopra Companies from 1996-1999 where she directed the strategic vision and overall business development of the multi-media empire of Dr. Deepak Chopra, famed author and physician. She is also the Chairman of the Rose Family Foundations private charity. In 2005, she was named one of Tennessee’s 100 Most Powerful People by "Business Tennessee" magazine. She also received the Economic Excellence and Equity Award from Tennessee Governor Phil Bredesen’s wife, Andrea Conte. Rose is most well-known for landing the NBA basketball team, the Memphis Grizzlies. As a result of her efforts, the Public Relations Society of America named her the 2001 Communicator of the Year. She is Co-founder of the Women’s Foundation for a Greater Memphis, and was internationally recognized in 2007 as one of two women awarded the Changing Face of Philanthropy Award from the International Women’s Funding Network. Rose received her undergraduate degree from the University of Northern Iowa in business and classical music performance in 1977. She received her master’s degree from Harvard University in management and public administration, and was named a Harvard University Distinguished Littauer Fellow in 1985. |

Chris Chu |
Chris Chu is the President and Chief Technical Officer of EVS. Chu has the responsibility for managing the day-to-day operations of the business, establishing relationships with customers, and focusing on building the corporate infrastructure needed to maintain EVS’s rapid growth and ensuring quality services. Before founding EVS, Chu served as Network Engineer for Hilton Hotels Corporation, a Fortune 500 company with a No. 2 ranking in Hotel Operations. She was responsible for designing, upgrading, implementing, and maintaining network-based solutions in support of the Hilton Hotels Corporation Core Network and over 2,400 hotels throughout the United States and Canada. Prior to her appointment at Hilton, Chu was a Network Engineer at First Horizon National Corporation, one of the top 30 bank holding companies in the U.S. Her responsibility was to design, upgrade, and support the entire network functionality for First Tennessee Bank and over 250 bank branches. Her participation in business continuity and disaster recovery exercises for First Tennessee Bank made Chu aware of the demand and importance of planning effective disaster recovery solutions. Chu, a native of Hong Kong, moved to the United States in 1993. She is a graduate of the University of Memphis in Management Information Systems and a Cisco Certified Network Professional. |

Gary Aulfinger |
Gary Aulfinger is the Chief Storage Architect and Director of Consulting Division for EVS Corporation. Prior to joining EVS, Aulfinger served as Technical Advisor for Strategic Storage Technologies at FedEx Services, designing the backup/recovery infrastructure for thousands of distributed systems with nearly 3,000TB of backup data. In addition, he managed production support for Unix and Windows servers and key Data Center management tools such as software distribution, configuration management, and job scheduling. Prior to FedEx, he attended and later worked for Carnegie Mellon University, earning a BS in Mechanical Engineering in 1988 and an MS from the H. John Heinz III School of Public Policy and Management in 1993. His years on staff with the University included managing the Academic Computing undergraduate computing labs and research facilities of the Information Networking Institute. |

John Gossett |
John Gossett is the Chief Information Officer of EVS. Gossett joins EVS with more than twenty years of strategic technical experience in business operations, software development, business continuity, risk assessment, and project management. He is responsible for all in-house applications supporting sales and marketing, invoicing, accounting, contracts, and technical support. Prior to joining EVS, Gossett was a business development consultant working with new technology startups. Gossett served as the CIO of Third Party Solutions (TPS), a leading provider of pharmacy claims management in the workers' compensation industry from 1994 to 2005. He was a member of the TPS Executive Council which served as the company’s executive management and strategic planning committee. During his eleven years at TPS, Gossett was the chief architect of an industry leading and highly redundant pharmacy claims adjudication system processing transactions from large retail pharmacy chains including Wal-Mart, CVS, Rite-Aid, and Walgreens. Gossett graduated with honors from Freed-Hardeman University in 1982, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a minor in Business Administration. |

David Benton |
David Benton is Director of IT Operations of EVS. Benton is responsible for the operation of the EVS network and data backup servers. Prior to joining EVS, Benton was a Senior Network Engineer at First Horizon National Corporation, maintaining enterprise operations of the First Horizon/First Tennessee National Bank. He was integral in the design, implementation, and support of all network functions within the company. A native of Memphis, Benton joined the U.S. Navy and began his extensive career as an IT professional in 1979, where his duties included maintenance and troubleshooting of aviation electronics equipment aboard the USS Kennedy and USS Ranger. In 1985, Benton departed the U.S. Navy and moved to Florida where he continued his career at the Kennedy Space Center. His responsibilities at NASA included installing, calibrating, and repairing critical components for the space program infrastructure. Benton returned to Memphis in 1993 to join the Federal Express team where he was a key member in the implementation and support of the TCP/IP network across 1000 locations. |
